Sauquoit, NY is a beautiful small town (actually, in New York state towns like this are called "hamlets") in the Mohawk Valley, outside Utica, NY where I grew up. The melody suggests a joyful, aimless Saturday afternoon, riding my bike up and down the hills, daydreaming.
