For our second suite, we started with "The Joke", a then brand-new piece I'd written. It's in a complicated meter, and I'm not that solid on it but we make a valiant effort and the solos are great. Our "Plainchant" is gorgeous, very proud of this. I was watching the clock, and on the spur of the moment I jumped back to "People's History", and Brandon was right with me. When we start like we end, it makes a nice circle, like we completed a lap.
